Send a Gift Home to Ethiopia | The Lamorah
Sending home
She will know you were thinking of her
You choose it here. We carry it home. She opens it there — and for a moment the distance is not quite what it was.
How it goes
-
1
You choose
Pick the piece and tell us who it is for — her name, her city, and a phone number she answers.
-
2
We carry it
It is wrapped here and travels home in our care. Nothing is asked of her along the way.
-
3
She opens it
We tell you the day it reaches her, so you can be the one to call first.
Everything is settled here
Anything travelling home is paid for in full before it leaves the UAE. That is deliberate. It means your family is never asked for money at the door, never handed a bill, never put in the position of paying for their own gift.
You settle it here, quietly, and it simply arrives.
Where it reaches
Addis Ababa, and beyond it. Tell us her town when you order and we will confirm the arrival before anything is charged — a real date, not a guess.
Sending somewhere else in Africa? Ask. We would rather tell you honestly whether we can reach her than take an order we cannot keep.
If you are sending an abaya
Every abaya is cut for one woman, so we need her measurements rather than a size. If you do not have them, do not guess — send us her height and we will help you get there. Allow seven to ten days for it to be made before it begins its journey.
The measuring guide takes ten minutes and saves everything.
Not sure what she would love?
Tell us about her — her age, her colours, whether she dresses quietly or likes to be seen — and we will send you three things she might love. It is the part of this we enjoy most.
Talk to us before you send
Tell us who she is and where she is, and we will take it from there. Message us on WhatsApp or from the contact page.
